Pink Energy: Performative Activism is not Kawaii — Jadedisland

Words mean extraordinarily little without action. As someone existing within the literary space, is it unusual to hear that is a phrase I live by? Yesterday I spent my day doing groundwork (Protesting, marching, etc.…) for the Black Lives Matter movement. This is not a new thing for me, I have joined many protests and marches in varying capacities. When I am not able-bodied enough to attend, I am in the digital space spreading awareness, educating MYSELF, signing petitions, and dialing up those political clowns in office.
