It’s about time I protest against my own self labeled strength. Currently my exhaustion is deeply embedded in ordinary living. I fear my strength is a poor platitude over a wounded state of being. I implore those who pass into this written space to stop using a Black femmes “strength” to push your personal agendas, compliment, or merely as an excuse.
